I am a jazz guitarist based in Wichita, Kansas, and I have been an active member of this vibrant musical community for the past 15 years. Additionally, I have dedicated 18 years to teaching and instructing aspiring guitarists.

 

Born on August 14, 1986, I began my musical journey at the age of 12. Like many young musicians, I explored various musical styles and teachers, often gravitating toward the music my parents did not approve of. As I progressed, I discovered an insatiable passion for learning that ultimately led me to pursue formal studies in guitar and jazz.

 

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Guitar Performance and Jazz Studies. However, my most valuable experiences come from my work as a performing musician. I have had the privilege of collaborating with some of the finest musicians in Wichita, participating in diverse musical settings—from solo performances and small jazz ensembles to big band arrangements and church music direction. My extensive experience also includes numerous engagements in pit orchestras for musicals and performances with top local cover bands.

 

In 2023, I recorded my debut album, "Night Owl," which I am excited to release in early 2025.
